Our Full Moon is visiting the sign of Scorpio on May 7, 2020. This moon phase asks us to wrap things up and let the pain not only teach us but transform us. Scorpio energy sets the stage for lasting change because we have changed. Our past behavior and experiences no longer define us. I find this to be so refreshingly liberating and creates so much hope for the future.
We all have collectively been experiencing pain at all levels these last few months. We have been triggered and now have a choice of how we will respond. This is where we have the most control. No one can make us feel or think a certain way, it’s always up to us. If you do get caught up in the group mind and it’s not feeling right or causing you more pain, you can make a change. It takes courage and some Scorpio energy to help clear the decks and become more independent in our thinking.
Join us in this Full Moon candle ritual of letting go of painful experiences and becoming grateful for what it’s teaching us. You will need a hand trowel, a piece of paper, pen, Wicked Good Florida water or any Florida water, Answers Chakra Magic Candle and Success Chakra Magic Spray and a Blessed Herbal Heart candle.
On the day of the full moon, May 7th, choose a time you can work. Start by invoking a sacred space of protection. This can be done by visualizing golden light surrounding your aura. Light the Answers Chakra Magic candle for inspiration and awareness. Make a list or write out a description of what you need to release. It could be an experience that is tormenting you or it can be self-destructive thoughts, behaviors or actions. When you are done, take this list outside and burn it. Collect the ashes and bury them in the ground near a plant or in a potted plant. You will be feeding the earth with your pain. The earth will absorb it and transmute it for you. The plant represents your rebirth and the action of the Scorpio moon on your energy now that you have made space for healing. Now put some Florida water in your hands and smooth it through your aura, imagine that all energy in your aura that is still attached to the list is being pushed into the earth.
After that is done, you are ready for your next step. You’ll need paper & pen, the Heart Blessed Herbal candle, the Success Chakra Magic spray, and the Florida water. Re-affirm your sacred space with the golden light and then Light the Heart Blessed Herbal candle. Sit quietly, breathing into your heart chakra. Ask that it be filled with love so you can forgive more easily, release the pain more fully and allow yourself to be changed for the better of your experiences. Let the love fill your entire body and aura with each breath. Take your time. Pay attention to the thoughts floating into your mind. If they are thoughts of resistance or objection, let them float into the wave of love flowing through you. If they are thoughts of understanding and you feel your mind is opening, jot those down on a piece of paper and keep it as a reminder of your healing. Now pay attention to your feelings. If you are feeling disturbed or unhappy, bring the love into your navel chakra. Let the wave of love wash away those feelings. Surrender those feelings into the wave of love. Let love heal your emotional body. Take your time. Cry if you feel like it.
When you feel complete, stand up and prepare to spray your aura with the Success Chakra Magic spray. Spritz it in the air in front of you, step into it and twirl. Who doesn’t like to twirl! Feel joy ignite within you with the twirling motion. You have lifted heavy burdens and filled yourself with love and joy. This is very transformative. Now, for the icing on the cake.
